I like these boots, they're very comfertable and haven't required much breaking in. Definitely good quality. Order was shipped pretty quickly. The only reasons I've not given 5 stars is because they're darker than advertised (almost black with a hint of red) which was disappointing. And base london use royal mail with no option for alternative shipping. Didn't realise until after checkout and unfortunately won't be using this website again for this reason.

Could you tell me if these boots were customer returns? The box is damaged and the inside the box had no tissue protection around them and were not filled with packaging to keep their shape.

Sizing is widly out. I take an 8 in most cases, sometimes a 9 in other brands. These 8's were huge! Loved the boot and style though!

I was happy with the ordering and delivery which was simple and quick. The issue is with the boot itself which although it looked really nice it was too big for me. All my shoes and trainers are size 7 but these ones came larger than a typical size 7 so the fit wasn’t great. Despite its size, it also felt tight at the sides. I tried an insole which helped with the fit but I’m only 5’5” so they looked out of proportion so I’m returning.

I ordered a size 11. I have 11 shoes from base London but boots are bigger than a size 12. Which I find wrong that I have to pay for returns when your sizing is so off.

whilst the delivery was fine, the item I ordered was a size 6, but what arrived was a size 7. comparing to another base london boot I have worn for a while in a size 6 there is no comparison, and the new boot was significantly bigger - returned them. Quality control issue !!
