Compared with other Base London shoes, I found the Carlton quality and comfort poor. I've ordered the Lincoln to see if they are any better. These Carltons feel like something you pick up in an emergency at a supermarket off the shelf for £20!
Lovely smart looking casual boots let down by a horrific fit. I've got quite normal feet and have never had this issue before, there is a gap in the heel area causing blisters. A smaller size would not be possible as the rest of the boot fits. uncomfortable to walk in or wear for long periods. contacted support and was advised to buy heel grips. I have done that and it has made very little difference, the gap at the heel is less but still enough to make me walk a bit odd. Would not buy again. They are cheap and as the saying goes, buy cheap, buy twice.
